If there were a TIME 100 for Most Outgoing People, I’d definitely make the list!
Growing up surrounded by friends from diverse backgrounds in Singapore and France, I’ve always been passionate about connecting with people and fostering meaningful interactions. From a young age, I knew I wanted to make a difference—whether through my professional work or the projects I contribute to in my spare time.
In 2016, I founded and ran Self-ish, a feminist open mic series, which I hosted in Paris and around the world as I travelled until 2021. Alongside this, I managed the initiative’s social media presence, growing its community on Facebook (3 K followers) and Instagram.
From 2017 to 2021, I worked with the environmental NGO 350.org as a Translations Coordination Specialist, managing global translation projects. This role allowed me to collaborate with teams across the globe, amplifying environmental justice campaigns in multiple languages.
In 2021, I moved to Canada, where I began freelancing on cultural projects, collaborating with organizations like Image+Nation, an LGBTQ+ film festival, and NGOs such as the Comité des Citoyens de Milton Parc. These projects allowed me to deepen my engagement with social impact work in the cultural and non-profit sector.
In 2024, I decided to further my creative communications skill set by studying Photography at the CEGEP du Vieux Montréal. This program is helping me explore storytelling in visual form, combining my passions for creativity and social impact. Check out my photography and video portfolios!
Currently, I am the Coordinator of the Activist Resource Library, a collaborative initiative coordinated by the Climate Justice Organizing HUB and the Youth Harbor, aimed at connecting activists with the resources they need for effective organizing.
I’m always excited to collaborate on impactful projects. Whether you’re looking for community management, web writing, or a creative partner, I’d love to hear from you!
